Inside the rig
01The head
A built-in compressor feeds a full-range clean path and a high-passed drive path. MIX blends the two, phase-aligned, so the low end never thins out.
Low, Low Mid, High Mid and Treble, then Master. The drive is 8x oversampled for smooth, alias-free distortion.
02Studio
A separate, compressed sub layer with an adjustable crossover (60–300 Hz), phase flip and SPLIT mode, so the amp and the sub sum perfectly flat.
Separate drive and mix for the lows, mids and highs, with TUBE, TAPE and FUZZ characters. Keep the low end clean and push the mid grind and high-end clank as far as you want.
03Cab
From a VOIDSTACK 8x10 to a COMPACT 2x10. Each slot is blendable and pannable.
Place the mic over the speaker and set its distance; the side view shows where it sits.
Flip a slot from SIM to IR and load your own impulse responses.
04Post-cab EQ
A high-pass, a low shelf, two fully parametric mid bands, a high shelf and a low-pass.
Drag a point on the curve, scroll for Q and double-click to reset, with a live analyser behind it.
05Smart Expander
Your tone stays in the middle, and the lows stay there too.
A clean DI of the same performance is tucked in hard left and hard right as two separate takes. Each side has its own timing and tone, so it sounds dual-tracked, not detuned.
The sides follow your playing to sit at the same level under the rig.
